This afternoon in Cybersmart, my class and I took part in Mr. Godwin’s challenge. We made our own word find templates, based on something we know. I choose to do celebraties, because I know most about them. Take part in my word find template. Enjoy!

 My ideal holiday

On my holidays I would love to go somewhere out of New Zealand like the Cook Islands or Fiji because it sounds like I would have an amazing holiday there. 

Imagine going somewhere on the holidays because you have always dreamed of going there. Well today I’m going to be talking about where I want to go on my holidays. I’ve always wanted to go to the Cook Islands because I have wanted to go snorkelling and Scuba diving. Cook Islands are most known for snorkelling and scuba diving. Cook Islands has over 15 islands and atolls(A ring shaped reef). The oldest Island on the Cook Island is Mangia. It is 18 million years old and believed to be the oldest Island on the Cook Islands. 🇨🇰

I’ve also always wanted to go to Fiji because I heard people are very caring, welcoming and heartwarming. So i just want to check Fiji out, Fiji is known for mysterious caves and canyons and cool coral covered walls.  Fiji is committed to protecting the ocean and their lifeblood. Rugby is the most popular sport in their country. Comment where you want to go on the holidays.🇫🇯

Athletics

My school and I practised racing,three sticks,Tug of war And many more for our athletics. A lot of parents came along to watch and see how fast their kids are and how long they can run without stopping. They also wanted to cheer them on and see how strong they are in tug of war. Athletics was so amazing but also exhausting at the same time because we ran a lot and it was so hot and sunny. The most funniest thing in athletics was when the teachers and parents versed in tug of war and racing. Most of the students from school got sunburnt and I’m one of them. A lot of people brang flags and wore red and blue.We had ice blocks that we bought from the school because we were donating it to one of our staff that donates stuff to people in need. After athletics the whole school was so sweaty even the teachers. There was a problem: one of the teachers had lost their ring. A lot of people were screaming. I don’t even know how loud they were. But overall it was an amazingly exhausting day.

Meaning: Taste the words you’re about to spit out of your mouth and taste them and see if they taste nice but if they don’t then swallow them and say something better.

Means even if you have all the friends in the world most of them are not real ones that makes us feel good.
